Terms of Sale
Last updated: 31 October 2026
These terms apply when you buy cabinets, panels, benchtops, hardware or other goods (the "Goods") through Sunhouse Group from Sunhouse Group pty ltd (ABN 34 632 798 308) ("we", "us"). By ticking "I agree" and placing an order you accept these terms. They sit alongside our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
1. Made-to-order goods
Cabinets and panels are cut and made to the sizes, colours, hardware and options in the design you send us. They are made specifically for you and are not stock items.
Please check every size, colour, door type, handle and option in your design and on the order summary before you pay. Once production starts, the order cannot be changed.
2. Your design and measurements
You are responsible for measuring your room and for the sizes, layout and suitability of the design you order. The 3D view, drawings and estimates in the design tool are a guide only and are not a site measure or installation advice.
We make the Goods to the figures in your order. If the Goods match your order, a measuring or design error on your part is not a fault in the Goods.
If you are unsure, ask us or a qualified installer before you order.
3. Prices, GST and quotes
Prices are in Australian dollars. The order summary shows the subtotal, GST (10%) and the total including GST.
Prices are calculated by our system from your design at the time you order. If an item needs a quote, we will send you the price before you pay; the order is only confirmed when you pay the quoted amount.
If we find an obvious pricing error before production, we will contact you and you may choose to pay the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
4. Payment
Payment is in full, by card, through our payment provider (Stripe), before production starts. We do not see or store your full card number.
Your order is confirmed when payment is received. You will receive an email confirmation.
5. Production time
The production time shown in your cart and confirmation email is an estimate counted from the day payment is received. Busy periods, supply of materials or events outside our control may cause delays; we will let you know if your order is delayed.
6. Pick up only
Unless your order summary says otherwise, Goods are for pick up only from our workshop. We do not deliver. We will contact you when your order is ready to collect and arrange a time.
Please bring a suitable vehicle and enough people to load safely. Flat-pack and assembled cabinets can be heavy and large.
Please check the Goods when you collect them and tell us straight away about any visible damage, missing items or wrong items.
Risk in the Goods passes to you when you collect them. Ownership passes to you when we have received full payment.
If Goods are not collected within a reasonable time after we tell you they are ready, we will contact you to arrange collection. We may charge a reasonable storage fee only if we have agreed this with you in writing.
7. Cancellations and changes
You may cancel for a full refund before production starts. Because the Goods are made to order, once production has started we cannot accept cancellations or changes of mind, except where the Australian Consumer Law gives you a right.
8. Installation and use
Prices do not include installation, plumbing, electrical work, benchtop fitting or removal of old cabinets unless stated on your order.
Cabinets must be installed in line with good trade practice and fixed securely to the wall or floor where required. Wall and tall cabinets must be anchored to prevent tipping.
Natural variations in timber grain, stone and finishes, and small differences between on-screen colours and the real material, are not defects.
9. Faults and the Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
If you think the Goods are faulty, contact us with your order number and photos. We may ask to inspect the Goods. Please do not alter or install Goods you believe are faulty before contacting us.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by incorrect measurements, design choices, installation or use not in line with these terms. Where our liability for a failure to comply with a guarantee can lawfully be limited, it is limited to replacing or repairing the Goods or refunding the price paid for them.
11. Privacy
We collect your name, phone, email and address to process your order and to keep a customer record, as described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
